PROGRAM DESCRIPTION/SERVICES

Family and Friends For Life Mentoring Program is a collaborative initiative between the Greater Framingham Community Church and SMOC. This innovative program provides adults with a nurturing support system to provide low-income adults with fundamental skills, employment/career paths, parenting skills, cultural awareness, spiritual development, community leadership, and guidance. The mentors currently are recruited and trained from the Greater Framingham Community Church.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The mentees must be a SMOC client who has demonstrated a willingness to make a one-year commitment. His/her case manager refers the clients; they also fill out an application and have a face-to-face interview with the Program Coordinator.
