During the family verification process, SMOC RAP will collect information on family income, assets and family composition. SMOC RAP will verify this information with other local agencies, your employer, and bank and will use this information to determine program eligibility and the amount of the housing assistance payment. All household members 18 years and older are required to consent to a criminal history review.

Applicants apply to a waiting list(s). When their name reaches the top of the list an eligibility packet is mailed to the household, once the packet is returned eligibility verification begins.
