The Housing Opportunity for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA)

Program Description/Services

HOPWA provides housing information, tenancy preservation, housing counseling, search and placement services to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS.

Eligibility Requirements

Families and single adults who have HIV or AIDS .

The HOPWA programs work with approximately 60 individual and families each year.

To improve the quality of life of low-income and disadvantaged individuals and families by advocating for their needs and rights; providing services; educating the community; building a community of support; participating in coalitions with other advocates and searching for new resources and partnerships.
