Mobile Stabilization Team

Program Description/Services

Funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Mobile Stabilization Team (MST) is designed to assist single homeless adults who have obtained housing in the MetroWest area to successfully maintain a housing placement. Stabilization Specialists will assist previously homeless adults to build strong ties to the community, assist with budgeting and bill payment, accessing community resources and maintaining good tenancy.

Eligibility Requirements

Previously homeless individuals who have obtained housing and have a disabling condition that is a barrier to sustaining tenancy.

Approximately 60 individuals served annually in the MetroWest area.

To improve the quality of life of low-income and disadvantaged individuals and families by advocating for their needs and rights; providing services; educating the community; building a community of support; participating in coalitions with other advocates and searching for new resources and partnerships.
